FACILITIES

With 900 hectares of USDA Certified Hass Avocado orchards, 2 packing houses and 1 state of the art processing plant; Alejandrina is second to no one, when it comes to avocados.

Our specialists daily monitor the orchards, checking soil conditions, water, the trees and the fruit.

With an annual production of 10,000 tons and product availability 365 days a year, we are proud of representing Mexico in the international market with a recognized and admired export quality.

HARD WORK

Fresh avocado: Thanks to our strict adherence to good agricultural practices, avocados Alejandrina enjoy the best reputation for its quality, consistency and honesty. We ensure harvesting avocados one by one, making sure they are always ready.

Process: We combine traditional methods with first world technology to make our guacamole with the freshness and flavor of homemade. You cannot tell the difference.

PROCESS

PROCESS AVOCADO 

 

We produce FRESHER UNDER PRESSURE avocado products using our Ultra High Pressure processing systems (UHP or HPP). This technology allows us to:

  • Maintain the natural qualities of avocado.
  • Avoid the use of preservatives and additives
  • Retain their nutritional value.
  • Give longer shelf life
  • This system of “Cold Pasteurization ” assures a bacteriological count of practically zero.

FRESH AVOCADO

  • Avocados are picked one by one avoiding to touch the ground
  • Transportation to packinghouse in closed box trucks avoiding external contaminating agents.
  • Washing, drying, natural polishing and selection of avocado.
  • Size sorting and packaging.
  • Palletizing and strapping.
  • Pre-cooled to 5 degrees Celsius.
  • Transportation to final destination in equipped vehicles with refrigeration system and controlled atmosphere to extends shelf life.

Our orchards, packing houses’, and processing plant have the most recognized industry certifications; allowing our products to have presence in the markets of North America, Europe and Asia.

LABORATORY

Process: Our processing plant has a highly technological laboratory to analyze, confirm and guarantee the quality, taste, texture, consistency and food safety of all our products.

Fresh: We are the only company in the industry that has its own laboratory for measuring pesticide levels supported by   (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación), ),the highest accreditation in Mexico. Thanks to this we can verify that all Alejandrina fruit meets the quality standards imposed by the various regulatory government institutions in the most demanding markets.
